The Le Coste vineyard has vines that was planted in 1982 and it is situated in the cru of Le Coste in Monforte d’Alba.
The vineyard sits on a hill facing Cascina, about 500m from the winery as the crow flies.
The vineyard is just under one hectare in size and is planted with Nebbiolo grapes only the best of which are selected to produce Barolo Le Coste.
The type of soil is marne di Sant’Agata fossili sabbiose of the Tortonian ages. The vineyard has an east/southeast exposure.
