The prestigious Fantini Vineyard in the Bussia MGA lies at a higher altitude than the others belonging to the same cru.

The soils consist of Diano sandstone, a geological matrix with a high percentage of sand, and enjoy south-westerly exposure. Although located at a fairly high altitude, they are positioned in a very hot area where the grapes ripen early.
