Hospitality
Our guests will be welcomed not only by us, but by the beauty of these places.
“At our B&B in Monforte d’Alba, every guest can experience the authentic atmosphere of somewhere antique. A walk among the vineyards can be the perfect prelude to a tasting.”
Mariangela Brosio
What could be better that coming back from a walk and relaxing in the peaceful hospitality of a place where guests are sacred and everything is designed to make them feel at home?
Well at the Amalia Cascina in Langa B&B that’s exactly how things work: breakfast features a delicious range of homemade cakes and jams, as well as typical local cheeses and cured meats and, later in the day, the lounge and garden provide the ideal setting to sip a good glass of wine while enjoying the splendid view of the Langhe, embraced by the Alps in the background.
In summer, the gazebo and swimming pool are quiet corners in which to enjoy the silent beauty of nature, possibly after a walk or a ride out on the mountain bikes placed at the disposal of guests.
And even when it’s cold, the lounge, with its open fireplace and elegant early 20th century furniture, invites guests to make themselves cosy and enjoy a smooth Barolo to warm the body and the spirit.
All you need to do is look around you to discover beauty.
The medieval village of Monforte d’Alba is now a leading destination for lovers of good food and wine, while the town of Alba is great for exclusive shopping and haute cuisine.
The poetry of Cesare Pavese comes to life in the villages of Grinzane Cavour, Serralunga, Barolo and Castiglione Falletto, with their castles, in the neo-gothic village of Pollenzo, in the art exhibitions and antiques fairs of Cherasco and in the beautiful scenery of Santo Stefano Belbo.
A little further south are the villages of Bossolasco, Murazzano and Mombarcaro, immortalised in the words of Beppe Fenoglio.
