THE VINTAGE WINES OF LANGHE

Amalia wines originate with the work in the vineyard, with the earth, and conclude in the winery, where technical innovation gives careful support while maintaining the respect for tradition.

The decision to concentrate on quality, to create, from a productive point of view, something unique and yet still capable of expressing the values of the territory and culture of Langhe, has allowed us to produce wines with important organoleptic qualities – warm, intense, complex and yet balanced.

"We want to keep to a minimum the use of chemical products in the management of the vineyards, preferring to study, and so predict, the behaviour of the pathogenic agents of the vines, in order to carry out specifically designed treatments and choosing to carry out attentive manual cultivation of the vines".
Paolo Boffa

...we execute an attentive manual cultivation of the vines which provides for a meticulous care of the vine in all of its phenological phases...

  • barbera d'alba

Barbera is a variety which is typical of Piedmont and the second most cultivated in Italy. In the lower area of the district of Monforte d’Alba, “Sant’Anna” it reaches good levels of acidity, ripening and concentration, thanks to the altitude of the site.

  • barolo

Obtained from Nebbiolo grapes cultivated in the lower areas of Monforte d’Alba, Bussia and Le Coste. The fermentation, with a long maceration of the must with the skins, is carried out according to tradition. Aging for more than two years in oak barrels and a further year of refinement in the bottle offer long life and great nobility to this wine.

  • Sogno Langhe Rosso

Sogno arises from the attempt to create, within the mother land of Nebbiolo, a wine with more international characteristics, through the use of the Cabernet Sauvignon grape – one of the most well known French vines. Sogno is, in our opinion, the proof that a union between two different worlds such as French and piedmonts vine growing can create harmonious products.

  • langhe nebbiolo

Langhe DOC Nebbiolo is the young expression of the valued piedmont variety, in which the fruity and floral aromas of the vine are exalted. Refinement in wood is kept to a minimum.

  • dolcetto d'alba

These grapes are cultivated in the most discussed area of the district of Monforte d’Alba, graced with an exceptional microclimate. Limited yields, extreme care in the cultivation of the vine and the meticulous choice of bunches to be harvested, give rise to this elegant, dry, fragrant wine full of olfactory and taste sensations.
